District Update 03-10-10
I want to share several very exciting events happening in our school district!
- Wicklund Elementary School has been nominated for the California Distinguished School Award.The hard work by our administrators, staff, and students has paid off with this great honor.
- The San Joaquin County Unification Committee voted 5 – 0 in support of the Lammersville District Petition for Unification. The next step will be an election held within the Lammersville District boundaries on June 8, 2010. The public will also be asked to vote for the new Unified Governing School Board on the same ballot.
- Questa Elementary School is 60% complete! The contractor is working hard to meet the deadline for a July 30, 2010 completion.
- The preliminary design for Altamont Elementary was presented to the Governing Board and community on February 24, 2010. If you would like to view the presentation, please click here.
The Lammersville Elementary School District is excited to continue the tradition of a challenging academic environment in state-of-the-art schools. I look forward to continuing as we build Questa, Altamont, and hopefully Mountain House High School.
