Welcome back to another year at Wicklund Elementary School. While summer vacation was restful, I am very excited to get the new school year underway.
The Wicklund staff is committed to providing your child with the best education and the highest expectations for achievement. This can only be possible with your help. I truly believe that the success of each child at Wicklund depends on the involvement of the entire educational community, with their families playing an important role. In this relationship, communication is key. Please be sure to communicate with your child's teacher regarding any concern or question you may have. The more we communicate with each other, the better we are able to help our students attain success.
At Wicklund, we have established a sense of pride with high achievement, not only in the classroom but outside. Students are taught the skills necessary to be successful in the classroom and to have positive impact outside the classroom. A Wicklund student will always be held to the highest standards of academic achievement and citizenship.
You should have received the Parent/Student Handbook on the first day of school. Please use this as a reference throughout the year should you have any questions regarding the school and our policies. Should you have any questions, please feel free to call.
Again, I am very excited about the new school year and
continuing our growth together. Every student can achieve and be
