Welcome to the 2008-2009 School Year!

Welcome back to another school year here at Wicklund School.  The staff and I are very excited about the start of school and are truly happy to see everyone back from a long, summer break.

This year we are starting school with approximately 630 students.  As a result, we have added two staff members to the Wicklund Family.  In 1^st grade, Ms. Mia San Julian joins the team, and in Kindergarten, Ms. Theresa Peare joins us.  Both teachers are no strangers to the Wicklund community.  Ms. San Julian was a long-term substitute teacher for Mrs. Hansen last year, and Ms. Peare was with us two years ago as a middle school teacher.  We are very happy that they are both on board.

As we all adjust to getting back into the routine of school, please remember that getting to school on time is very, very important to the success of your child here at school.  Starting off their day right allows them to be fully present in their learning and growth.  

For those families new to Wicklund, our main focus here centers on the individual academic achievement of each and every one of our students.  Our goal is provide your child with a high quality education that guides them in working toward their potential, while maintaining the high standards of the Lammersville School District.  This is something that takes the entire educational community.  From students to teachers to parents, we all need to work at communicating effectively because you all play a vital role in your child's success.
