INTRODUCTION  

Lammersville Unified School District is dedicated to meeting the educational needs of the exceptional child. All disabled children between the ages of 3 and 21 are provided appropriate educational opportunities. An Individualized Education Program (IEP) is developed annually for each of our students to ensure that each child receives a free and appropriate public education designed to assist him or her in accessing educational benefit in the least restrictive educational environment. Those charged with these responsibilities welcome the opportunity to provide a rich and meaningful program to exceptional children. Our Special Education teaching staff is committed to providing specialized academic instruction and related services in order to fully engage students in high quality learning environments that challenge and prepare them to be well-rounded, active members of the community. Support services include psychologists, program specialists, speech therapists, behavior specialist, occupational therapist, an adaptive physical education teacher and administrative staff.
