Mountain House High School: Inclusive School
Mountain House High School is an inclusive school where students with disabilities are woven into the culture and community of the campus to the greatest extent possible. Special education services are delivered through multiple program models designed to match each student's level of need.

Co-Teaching pairs special education teachers alongside general education teachers in core academic classes — including Math, English, and Science — allowing students with disabilities to access grade-level instruction in the least restrictive environment alongside their non-disabled peers.

Parallel Classes provide students with a more structured instructional setting where special education staff deliver grade-level standards through a targeted curriculum, offering greater support while maintaining alignment with the general education course of study.

Learning Lab is a designated period within a student's schedule where they receive additional support on coursework and IEP goals from special education staff. It serves as a built-in resource period — not a separate program — to help students stay on track across their classes.

Special Day Class (SDC) – Life Skills

Mountain House High School's SDC program is a Life Skills class designed for students with more significant support needs. Instruction addresses functional academics, independent living skills, and core curriculum at an appropriately paced level. Mainstreaming opportunities are determined by each student's IEP Team. 

Young Adult Program (Ages 18–22)

Students ages 18–22 are served through contracted partnerships with San Joaquin County Programs and Tracy Unified School District, providing access to Young Adult transition programming beyond the high school setting.
