Programs K-8

Lammersville Unified School District is committed to providing high-quality Specialized Education programs to students across all nine of its Kindergarten through 8th grade school sites. Each site has dedicated Specialized Education staff assigned to meet the needs of its exceptional students. Service providers include Special Education Teachers, School Psychologists, Speech-Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Behavior Specialists, and an Adaptive Physical Education Teacher.

The District also offers two distinct Special Day Class (SDC) program tracks to provide more concentrated learning environments for students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Students with greater needs can attend these classes for more than 50% of the school day.

Extensive Support Needs (ESN) Programs serve students with more significant disabilities at the following sites:

 

  • Questa Elementary – Preschool through Transitional Kindergarten
  • Altamont Elementary – Kindergarten through 3rd grade
  • Pombo Elementary – Kindergarten through 8th grade

 

Mild/Moderate SDC Programs serve students requiring additional academic and behavioral support at:

  • Questa Elementary – Kindergarten through 8th grade
  • Wicklund Elementary – Preschool through 8th grade
